Adrián Castro Baeza 

Screenwriter and Director

Adrián Castro Baeza is a Costa Rican film and theatre director, scriptwriter and choreographer. His formal studies in business in Costa Rica are a complement  with his film directing studies in the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While in Argentina, he wrote and directed the shortfilm “Hablemos bajito para que no nos escuchen” premiered in DIVERCINE Uruguay. He has also worked as a PA in the feature film Focus, for Warner Brothers starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie, the documentary for Animal Planet “Toucan Lost Paradise” and the show Fuerza Bruta. Recently he was the executive producer and director of the Costa Rican production of West Side Story and Chicago on stage. For television he was the director of the 11th season of El Show de la Media Docena, one of the longest running TV shows in national television.Currently, he is very active as Directors Assistant in diverse movies and hight scale TV ads.

Marysela Zamora, Directora Ejecutiva

Marysela Zamora is a film and performing arts producer based in Costa Rica. She is the founder of Fabrica de Historias (artistic and creative production company) and Nosotras Women Connecting (gender equality initiative). Marysela Zamora was the producer of marketing and distribution of the feature film Red Princesses (Princesas Rojas, 2013), directed by Laura Astorga Carrera,  winner of multiple awards including Best Opera Prima in Los Angeles International Film Festival, Costa Rica International Film Festival and Festival Internacional de Cine Margarita, Venezuela. She also directed and produced the short film Cualquier Dia (Any Other Day, 2015) official selection of Chicago Feminist Film Festival, All the Lights Films Festival, Miami Short Film Festival and Guanajuato Film Festival, awared Best Costa Rican Short Film in the Ludico Iberoamerican Film Festival and Best Child Actress in Cineframe Film Festival.  

Zamora holds a degree in Communication Science from the University of Costa Rica. In 2014, she completed the Community Solutions Program along with George Mason University, this program picks leaders from around the world for a intensive professional program from the State Department. In 2017, Marysela was part of the prestigious  Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative y recently she got into the accelerator program for business women of Central America, WE Americas. Zamora is a speaker and writes in Delfino.com and Forbes Centroamerica.
